Head to Hand Writer's Workshops are for adults who are tired of saying, “Someday, I’m going to write a book.”  This is not a workshop to sit around talking about writing. This is a hands-on workshop, so roll up your sleeves and come prepared to work.  This workshop is also for adults who want to polish their existing non-fiction, self-published book.
 
​With Head to Hand Writer's Workshops you can:

• Get clear about your point, purpose, and passion for writing.
• Expect to learn the correct ways to layout your book.​​
• Gain the confidence to push forward and complete your book.
• Finish the workshop with clear teaching and solid content.
• Jump-start your journey to authorship with the golden key to your success - your Master Blueprint, in your hands before you leave the workshop.  
• Use the included resources to learn how to format and design your pages as well as how to complete the writing process.

You will get out of this workshop what you put into it. If you have a book in your head, you will learn how to get it in your hand, but only if you come with your book ideas and a willingness to explore possibilities.

More About Head to Hand Writer's Workshops (formerly S.T.E.P.S. Workshops)

Who:
Your instructor for the workshop is Dell Self of Speak Through Me Communications. Dell is a writing strategist  and self-publishing specialist, who has worked with dozens of writers and more than 20 books of her own. Dell specializes in turning writers into authors by educating writers on how to get their books out of their heads and into their hand. Dell is a trained and certified public speaker coach, Christian life coach, Christian leadership coach, and lifestyle coach.
 
What:
Head to Hand Writer's Workshops are the perfect way to jump-start your journey to authorship. Come with your ideas about your writing project and you will leave with your master blueprint book in your hands. You will also have the clarity and confidence to complete your writing project and finally get your book out of your head and into your hand.

 Additional Information:

• Don’t wait. Seats will go quickly. This is a small, hands-on workshop. The seating is limited. 
• This workshop is for adults desiring to self-publish an uplifting, Christ-centered, non-fiction book or polish their existing non-fiction book.  
• This workshop will not make you an author. It will give you the start you need to complete your manuscript (or polish your existing book) using your master blueprint. 
• All workshop materials (including workbook) meals and snacks are covered in the cost (Lunch and snacks are not provided for virtual events).
• Head to Hand Writer's Workshops are faith-based.
• ​Check-in is at 9:45 a.m. (in person only)
• Be sure to dress comfortably from head to toe.

Workbook and supplies provided. Virtual events: We ship our "Happy Box" directly to you with your workbook, supplies, and a few extra goodies. In-person events: Your workbook, supplies, lunch, and all the goodies are provided onsite.
