S.T.E.P.S. to Authorship Workshops are for adults who are tired of saying, “Someday, I’m going to write a book.” This is not a workshop to sit around talking about writing. This is a hands-on workshop, so roll up your sleeves and come prepared to work.
With S.T.E.P.S. Workshops you can:
You will get out of this workshop what you put into it. If you have a book in your head, you will learn how to get it in your hand, but only if you come with your book ideas and a willingness to explore possibilities.

Your instructor for the workshop is Dell Self of Speak Through Me Communications. Dell is a certified public speaking coach, book coach, and author of more than a dozen books. Dell specializes in turning writers into authors by educating writers on how to get their books out of their heads and into their hand.

Creating Small Caps and Titles
It is strongly suggested that you have the following:
• Use of a WiFi ready computer or laptop with a full, updated version of
Microsoft Word 2007 or higher
o Phones and tablets are not recommended for your book project
• Reasonable typing ability and familiarity with MS Word
o A basic understanding is sufficient
• Ability to play videos in full screen, open and read PDFs, and listen to audios
• A dedicated jump drive to backup your book
